Painting Joy

With this Photoshop composite I wanted the viewer to feel the same pure joy I do when creating.

The composite itself is made up of two stock photographs, the building and girl, and my personal photography, the sunset and painter.

I used hue adjustments and blurs on the
building to give it a grungy feeling. Smart
filters were applied to the sunset and girl to give them a painted texture. Finally masks and a water color brush were used to make her look painted into the composite.

Queen Album Redesign

I redesigned the album “The Miracle” by Queen. The original album design (below) is widely seen as creepy. For the redesign I wanted to tap into the bands tongue in cheek humor. The inspiration comes from an interview in which lead guitarist Brian May is asked if calling the album “The
Miracle” would make some people think the band had a savior complex.
